Beautiful Bedrooms

Do you like your bedroom?  I think bedrooms are an awesome place to decorate, but so many people overlook this space because it is usually not a space for "company."  Parents particularly seem to forget about decorating their bedroom, focusing instead on their children's bedrooms and the other common spaces in the house.  However, your bedroom should be a luxurious place where you can relax and rest, no matter how big or small the room may be.  Check out some of these beautiful bedrooms.
This space looks elegant and luxurious, with clean decorations and everything in its place.  It is welcoming and warm, and would be a nice place to relax.  I love that mirror over the bed.
Hello pretty.  I love the grey and white pattern on the fireplace, and that huge picture of the flowers really makes a statement on the dark walls.  In a room this large, the dark walls really work, and aren't overwhelming at all.
This bedroom is so bright and cheery, it would make it difficult to wake up on the wrong side of the bed.  :)  I love the framed picture being stool on an easel instead of on the wall, because this is cute and makes it look original.

Bold Patterns: In the Bathroom

I'm having a design crush on two bathrooms right now.  Yes..two bathrooms.  They are fun, dramatic, and daring.  Certainly not afraid to play with patterns or color.

Now you're curious right?
I love the funky retro pink wallpaper!  How fun!

I love the contrast from the dark wallpaper to the coral vanity.  And it looks like front door knockers are being used as handles...how cute is that?!

Walk-In Luxury

How many of you out there dream of a perfectly organized, beautiful, large walk-in closet?  I know that I certainly do.  I don't have a tiny closet by any means, but it seems that there is never enough room to store all of my clothes, shoes, and accessories.  I feel like I am always out of room, and that I just continue to stuff, stuff, stuff until I can't even see everything I own.  Not efficient.

Check out some of these beautiful closets.  Warning: they will make you jealous.
The bright color makes the space fun, and it would be a great place to experiment with color, since you're really the only one enjoying the space.  I love the mix of the shelves and the closed cabinets, plus the racks to hang things.  The chandelier is an added bonus, of course.
This literally looks like the size of a bedroom.  And the mix of hanging space, shelves, and drawers would allow for everything to have its perfect place.  Ahh...the organization.
I can't tell how large this closet is or what the rest of it looks like, but I can say one thing.  Hello luxury.  You certainly are stunning.
Could you even imagine having a space like this for your closet?  I mean seriously.  I don't think I would ever leave it.
I think this would be my dream closet.  I love white, I love dark hardwood floors, its huge, and could be organized perfectly.  I don't see a single thing wrong or missing from this closet.
Again...organization perfection.  For real.

Which is your favorite space?  Is your closet anything as wonderful as these?

Closet Transformation

Isn't this the cutest closet turned office you've ever seen?  I don't know if many people could pull this off, because honestly, who has an extra closet to spare (and if you do...could I have it?), but I think this is such a cute use of space.  Hanging shelves allows for tons of office storage space, and when you are done working, simply close the door.  Out of sight, out of mind.

EdenFantasys

Time for another post about my absolutely favorite online store...EdenFantasys!  EdenFantasys is an online adult retailer, which sells everything from sexy lingerie to massage kits, sex toys to erotic videos.  The selection of products they carry are huge, and seem to be ever-expanding.  I feel like every time I go to make a purchase, there are new products that I have not seen before, and often times one is more exciting than the next!  Plus, they offer free shipping on all orders over $59, and shipping and billing is completely discrete.  They even offer a free gift with every purchase...how awesome is that?!

One of my favorite ways to take a boring night and kick it up a notch is with some hot lingerie.  EdenFantasys has a huge lingerie selection, and like all their other products, it seems to be ever growing.  Some of my absolute favorite pieces of lingerie have come from this site.  They are all quality made, descriptions are accurate as to what the site says, and they come in a huge array of prices, so there is something for everyone.  You can search by style, size, color, etc...so it can be pretty easy to find the perfect piece.  Or in my case, usually pieces...the tough part is narrowing down what exactly to buy.

Some of my recent favorites?

I love all the different styles, and the different colors available.  So much more than the typical red, black, or pink lingerie available at some stores.

Have I convinced you yet?  Check out EdenFantasys, you one-stop shop for everything you need to take a night from bland to brilliant!  Plus, right now you can save 20 percent on all regularly priced products with the code "ROSES."  Have fun shopping :)

Unique Kitchens: On a Budget

Do you ever feel like your kitchen is not a space that you love to be in...that something is missing and need a change?  I think we all feel like that from time to time, and unfortunately, most of us don't have the mega moolah required to do a major kitchen overhaul.  I've been keeping my eye out for some fun, inexpensive kitchen fixes that can really transform your space, all while keeping you on a budget.
Add some shelving, and store some of your beautiful and unique kitchen goods.  If you don't have any, these can be inexpensive found at thrift stores, and you can even find cute things at stores like Target.  Adding just a few decorative pieces like those shown above can really brighten up the room, and I always smile when I see some of my knick-knacks that I love beautifully displayed.
Add some color with a bowl of fruit!  Fruit is beautiful and bright, and if you find a fun bowl and some matching linens/towels, this is a super easy way to add some color to the kitchen.  Plus, you can change it weekly as you eat the fruit.
Add a large (or small) but inexpensive dramatic piece of artwork using wall paper or a piece of fabric.  This can be very inexpensive, so if you tire of it in a few months, it would be an easy change.  You can really get some dramatic looks using this trick.
Again, more shelves for your knick knacks, or some of your prettier kitchen goods.
Replace your chairs/stools, or add a new cushion.  This can be inexpensive, and is an instant change to the entire room.  These red chairs are so fun, and really add a special pop to the room.
More shelving :)
Buy a rug to cover up tiles that you hate, or flooring that you just can't stand to look at anymore.  Rugs can be expensive,  but they certainly are cheaper than replacing the whole floor.

Do you have any inexpensive kitchen pick-me-ups?

Kitchens Galore

Two more stunning kitchens to add to my collection from yesterday.  Do you see why my photo collection is ever-growing, making it all that much harder for me to decide on what I absolutely positively want for my own?  Oh well...the more ideas, the better :)
If you swapped out those floors, and traded the color of the island...I think this kitchen is beautiful! One thing I'm completely positive on is my love for white kitchens.
Even though its not white, I think this kitchen is amazing!! Another thing I'm positive that I love...farmhouse sinks.  Beautiful.

Dream Kitchens

I have grand plans of one day buying a home of my very own, and gutting it...so that I can make it the house that I have always dreamed of.  Obviously this won't be happening any time in the near future, but it sure is fun to dream.  I have a huge collection of photos that I have seen online over the years that I have saved to my computer, photos that I plan to turn to for inspiration when the time finally comes for me to create my ultimate dream house.

One of the rooms I am most excited about is the kitchen.  Every time I see an email with kitchen designs, I carefully save the email until I have time to go through it, save the pictures that I love, and organize them accordingly.  HGTV recently released some "budget friendly" kitchens, and there are some that I just adore.

This looks like a mix of some high end with some more inexpensive products, but I believe that they hit the nail on the head.  I love the white cabinets and that beautiful grey backsplash.  Spending a bit more money on appliances is always worth the extra cost, and these truly look great.
So cute and friendly.  Great for organization, and I love the little personal touch the corner of this kitchen has.  It is unique and welcoming, and seriously brings a smile to my face every time I see it.
Have an open display can save money on cabinets, and if your dishes are pretty...then why hide them?  I love this little corner because everything looks like it has its perfect place, and the plate rack is a great way to store those plates.  Plus the little drawers underneath are just too cute!
Is this panty not just to die for?  Need I even say anything else?

MyMemories.com: Digital Scrapbooking Review & Giveaway!!

How are you doing on your "getting organized" New Years Resolution?  Hopefully, its going well, and you're welcoming a more organized life.  Now I have a question for you...how do you organize all of your photos?  With digital cameras, we often have tons and tons of pictures, but what do you do with those pictures?  If you print them, keeping them organized can be a chore in itself.  And if you don't print them, do you just let them sit on your computer, where you never really get the chance to enjoy them?  We MUST change that!

Enter MyMemories, which sells a fabulous digital scrapbooking software.  I used to be an avid scrapbooker, but I unfortunately no longer have time to stay on top of my photographs.  Plus, it gets quite expensive, and takes up a ton of space.  When I got the opportunity to try out digital scrapbooking, I was beyond excited.  I love to have a way to display my photographs, I would be able to create beautiful layouts easily.

MyMemories has a huge variety of options, with tons of different layouts and fun themes.  I was lucky to be able to review the MyMemories Suite, which I totally love!  You can purchase it from the website and download it directly onto your computer, so that you can use it instantly.  I have tons of pictures that I have been needing to scrapbook, so I was excited to look through all the different layouts and themes available on the software.

At first, I had a little trouble using the software, but after some experimentation, it is quite easy and fun to use.  There are some great layouts, whether you are looking for holidays, birthdays, babies, or weddings.  There are also a ton of generic layouts, where you can make collages, add pictures with journal entries, and more!  According to the website, there are 1,500 papers, over 1,000 pages elements, and over 30 album templates to choose from.  Plus, you can add music and videos to the pages, so you really can fully document your event!

Check out two of the pages I made:

MyMemories Suite is available online for only $39.97, which is a steal!  However, if you use this code STMMMS89753 on your order, you can get $10 off your purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software and a $10 coupon for the MyMemories.com store!  Visit MyMemories to take advantage of this fabulous offer!

Headboards

Do you have a headboard on your bed?  Many people do, but many people don't...and I think that is a huge missed opportunity.  Headboards give you a chance to really bring an extra something into your bedroom, and can be used to add a fun pop of color, an intricate detail, or just be downright pretty.  HGTV has some pretty fabulous headboard ideas I was dying to share with you!
This is only of my favorite bedrooms...and I love the splash of green that comes from the headboard.  It gives this room a perfect pop of color with the black, white, and pink.  Very unexpected.
Another fun pop of color.  Upholstered headboards can be seen all over the place now, and I must agree...they really are fabulous.
Stacking different squares with a fun pattern really brings life to this room.  I love that the headboard is wider than the actual bed.  The pattern really adds a bit of art to the room, without having to hang a painting.
Another pop of color.  Matching pillows to the headboard is a great way to incorporate the color into the overall feel of the bedroom.
I love the height of this headboard.  It works in suck an obviously large room.  In a smaller room, it would probably be overwhelming.  The neutral colors also help to prevent it from being too much of a statement.
Quite the way to add some visual interest.  By making headboards at home, you really have all the options in the world at your fingertips.  You are free to arrange as you want and to let those creative juices flow...allowing you to end up with some really neat results.
I love this room.  It is so peaceful.  I love the large rectangular headboard that is flanked with the vertical hanging lights.  This looks like the perfect place to curl up with a good book as you're drifting off to sleep.
Don't be afraid to experiment with shapes.  This can give you a really dramatic, and elegant, look.
I love how long and narrow the second headboard is.  Layering two headboards is also a great way to add visual interest.
Another double headboard.  By adding the back blue panels, you get some height to the bed, which helps to balance it out against the high ceilings and the huge space.
Slant your headboard! I think this is really unique, and totally changes the feel of the bedroom!
Using a bold pattern that extends all the way to the ceiling is bold, but be careful...make sure your room is large enough so that it doesn't become overwhelming.

So tell me...do you have a headboard on your bed?  Which is your favorite above?
