Now that it is officially December, it is time to pull out the advent calendars and start the official Christmas countdown! There are so many different advent calendars you can do, from ones you buy to crafty DIYs. I have loved the idea of advent calendar garlands lately. Here are a few that I love:
A garland of mittens! You could add a cute note, some candy, or some other special treat.
Dress up some traditional square envelopes and string them across a garland. This would require some hard work, but once done, these can be used for years! Place a coupon inside for your children to redeem for things around the house...a sweet treat, a cup of hot chocolate, etc!
Create a garland of stockings! Wrap up a special treat, and stick it inside the stocking.
